Prospective
members and guests are welcome to come on as many walks as they like before
joining. It is recommended that you
contact the leader a day or two in advance,
to check meeting arrangements. You
can also find out exactly what you are letting yourself in for, how far, finish
time, quality and quantity of pubs and cafés etc. The leader may be able
to co-ordinate car sharing. Dogs
are normally allowed if kept under close control.
To
join the club you have to survive two walks, and to have saved £5. You are formally enrolled at the AGM in
March, and receive two syllabuses per year. If you need more information, contact
the Hon Secretary. If you want a
printed current or future walk programme, please send a stamped addressed
envelope at the appropriate time. Note that some of us can be a bit
tricky to contact by ’phone at times. Keep trying.
