MRC is a small, long-established ramblers club.  The general pattern is of weekly walks, usually on Saturdays.  In summer there are also short weekday evening walks, usually ending at a pub. We occasionally organise weekend meetings, joint walks with other clubs, and an annual ‘epic’. Walks are graded as easy, moderate or strenuous; an ‘easy’ being up to ten miles.  A typical turnout may be five or six people, with up to a dozen occasionally.  Non-members are always welcome to come walking with us.

A few pictures of our recent walk from Edale over Kinder Scout visiting Madwoman’s Stones. We thought it best not to take any pictures of the stones though in case we upset her even more!
